We recently took a listing in Goose Creek, SC in Berkeley County that had been on the market for over 10 months with another company. The
first listing was occupied by the homeowners and the 2nd listing was vacant after they relocated out of the area. I previously blogged about this listing showing vacant, occupied and staged photos-Take a look at the difference here. I've posted photos of the most dramatic room transformation here-the dining room.
During the previous 10 months, they had approximately 25-30 showings with not even one offer. In just 10 DAYS, we had our 1st showing and an offer in hand. I do not believe this is luck of the draw. The property shows amazingly different and looks like a model after the fantastic staging job by First Impressions staging company and it cost the owner less than 1% of the sales price to have the whole house staged and repaint this room. Because of the new look, we even raised the price slightly to offset the staging costs. While the offer is still in its infancy and I'm not sure we will come to terms, the fact of the matter is that this home has now generated an offer. Staging works! This home proved it in just 10 days to elicit an offer. Even if this one doesn't work out, I'm confident, we'll get another bite.

Excellent!!!! Thank you for sharing with us!!!!
I LOVE it! Who'd of thought to paint as well as stage? Nice work!
Staging is definitely in the eye of the beholder and the buyer of this home it meant a tremendous amount. Did I read correctly that you earned the right to be Boeing's relocation company for the Charleston area!?! That's awesome and that should be a blog post by itself.
The paint, chairs, and artwork made the room fantastic.
This is a great transformation from seller-specific paint colors to "buyer neutral." Now it's so much more appealing!
It looks like an entirely different room. Paint is definitely the least expesive and best investment to make when staging a home for sale. Even if it is already a neutral colour, if the paint is older than three years, it looks dull and needs refreshing for that model home look of "just move right in" with no work to do. congratulations on your major achievement.
Thanks all! It is amazing to see the difference in the 2 photos. All the rooms had great transformations. I'm always amazed at the results even though it is successful every time. The seller was just as impressed and wanted to move back in.
Wow, what a transformation. Changing the color was huge, but the other items-the chairs, the table setting, the art work are beautifully done as well.
It turned out beautiful! It definitely wasn't "luck of the draw." The offer has everything to do with how nice you made this room look.
Congratulations. Your home staging is being featured in the group Staging Before & After Pictures.

Rich-Good staging is really an art form. It's amazing the difference in the look and feel. And this is conveyed to buyers. Buyers want to buy a lifestyle and by giving it to them, it makes it easier to help them move forward in their decision.
Kathy-My stager is really talented and does amazing work. Thanks for the feature!
I have one word to describe this room "DELICIOUS"! I am sure it's going to sell.
Michele: great job! The transformation is remarkable. Congratulations on your feature this photo truly deserves it.
The Room looks so impressive now. The color red that was on the wall almost hurt your eyes...it looks beautiful now. Great job!!!
Barbara-I agree. The best part is that the transformation didn't cost much.
Kimberly-I owe it to my stager!
Linda-It's amazing how the right color and accessories create a completely different feel.
